When Georgie came to me with an idea of what she wanted for her 30th birthday bash in Vegas, I sent her some sketches and worked with her in chosing a design. Above is the design she loved best.
From there, I selected some fabrics and colors and added it to the image for her to see and choose from. Tri-color green silk organza with swarowski crystal detail at empire waist.
When Georgie was happy with the total design, I met with her to get her measurements and began making a muslin (mock up garment for fitting only) of her dress.
When we met for the second time, all corrections were made to the muslin and the pattern was finalized for the real fabric to be cut and sewn together.

One last fitting in the true fabric was done before final finishes, such as zipper and hem, to ensure the dress fits perfectly. Here is Georgie in Vegas on her Birthday in the final dress!
